Chris Loar played superbly to win his third Planet Pool 9 Ball Tour title in a row, at our last tournament on April 29/30 at Champion Billiards in Rockville, Maryland. Chris, who has been showing tremendous form, has not lost a single match in his last three tour events, making that some kind of a record in itself.

He beat Max Eberle 9-3 in the somewhat one-sided final, which gives one the feeling of dejavu, since he beat Max three weeks ago in the final of the Richmond event.

Chris beat Sidney Lee, Eddie Smith, Tommy Kay, Kevin Bailey - who had beat Max in the first round, and Doug Sharp on his way to the final. With this victory, he has secured a substantial lead in the points list, leading second place holder, Mike Davis, by 55 points.

Colleen Miller defeated Jennifer Dunkin in the ladies' event.
