2001 World Pool Championship - Two More Names AnnouncedFirstly, Johl Younger, the 23 year-old all-round cueman from Melbourne, took the final Australian spot. Younger, who reached the last eight of the 2000 World Pool Championship, will be joining fellow countrymen Warren King, Lou Condo jnr and Quinten Hann in Cardiff. Meanwhile at Riley's American Pool Club in Harrow, UK Professional Andy Richardson (Leeds) won through by the narrowest of margins, beating Steve Singh 8 - 7. Richardson, who played in the 1996 Mosconi Cup, will be making his second appearance at the World Championships, having represented England in Cardiff in 1999. With a prize-fund of US$300,000, the World Pool Championship is also the richest pool tournament in the world.
