Jeanette Lee hosts Celebrity Billiards BenefitTeams of three will consist of a celebrity and two players and will compete against each other in a 9-ball alternating-shot format. Three rounds of 9-Ball will take place throughout the evening with the final match scheduled to begin at 9:00 p.m. Additionally there will be celebrity challenges, trick shot shows and a silent auction. Tickets are $30 pre-event and $50 at the door; this includes admissions to the event, food, 2 drinks and event gift. Individuals may purchase a team spot for $250. To order tickets call 317.570.0449. Scheduled celebrity appearances include Reggie Miller (Indiana Pacers), Boomer (Indiana Pacers), Jack Miller (former Indy Car driver) and Barry Krauss (former Indianapolis Colts player), Helena Thornfeldt (professional billiards player) and Monica Webb (professional billiards player). Jeannette Lee and Dr. Cue (professional billiard player) will also be performing their trick shot show, hosting spectator challenges and other various competitions for prizes throughout the evening. Diagnosed with scoliosis at age 13, Jeanette Lee has been an active supporter of The Scoliosis Association as their national spokesperson and board member. Jeanette’s billiards career began in the 1980’s and she turned pro in 1993. Since then she has been ranked number one in the Women’s Professional Billiards Tour and continues to be in the top tem. She has earned numerous awards and honors including “Player of the Year,” “Sports Person of the Year,” and WPBA Champion. She has recently been named to the Women’s Sports Foundation Board of Directors. The Scoliosis Association, Inc. is a national information and support network providing information, help and referrals free of charge. The Association is a non-profit, non-medical, tax-exempt organization, which was founded by scoliosis patients and their families in 1974.
