TRIO JOIN 110SPORT SNOOKER TEAMWorld No.27 Joe Perry is added to the 110sport camp, as is Michael Judge, ranked 28th in the world and a star last season in Ireland's Nations Cup team. Judge joins countrymen Ken Doherty and Fergal O'Brien with the East Kilbride-based management stable. The third summer signing is 21-year-old Welshman Ryan Day, a 'Young Player of Distinction' last season, who in the coming campaign will contest the UK Challenge Tour. Making the announcement, 110sport Managing Director Gerry Sinclair said: "110sport are embarking on a major expansion within player management, with many new and innovative ways of supporting our players. "We are delighted that our first three new signings in snooker are such high profile characters, who strongly reflect the real quality we expect of 110sport players." Judge, 25, who climbed 18 places in the world rankings last term said: "It's great to be joining a winning team like 110sport. "I've known for some time, through Ken and Fergal, how they look after players and I know joining them can only help my career." The arrival of the new trio - who formally join on July 1 - takes the 110sport snooker team up to 23 players for the 2001/2002 season. It includes seven-times world champion Stephen Hendry MBE, former world champions Doherty, world No.1 Mark Williams and leading BBC commentator Dennis Taylor, IBSF World Champion Stephen McGuire, and top 16 stars such as Stephen Lee and Fergal O'Brien, while also sponsoring the likes of Jimmy White, Joe Swail, Dave Harold, Graeme Dott and Mark King. More signings are expected in coming weeks. In addition, 110sport (formerly CueMasters) are enjoying a successful year on the golf course, with Catriona Matthew lying seventh in the LPGA's money list this season, while Dean Robertson is currently 17th in the Ryder Cup standings.
