TOKYO 9-BALL INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENTPrize Money - 100,000,000 Yen (approx. US $820,000) November 11-14, 2001. This tournament is open to all WPA players. For full details and entry forms, please visit the official Tokyo 9-ball Tournament website at www.tokyo-9ball.com WPA Chairman Ian Anderson futher announced the following: "The WPA is pleased to announce a new event, the Tokyo 9-Ball International to be played in Tokyo 11 - 14 November, 2001. Please pass this information on to your players as soon as possible, further information, entry form and details can be found on the event's website www.tokyo-9ball.com The event is advertised as having prize money of 100,000,000 Yen or approx. US $820,000. This is a very large purse, the biggest in the history of pool. The WPA have no concerns about the organizers and are confident that all promises will be fulfilled. We look forward to a long term relationship with IBC, the organizing company, which will prove to be mutually beneficial. Tournament and Hotel information is available on the web site www.tokyo-9ball.com. There will be hotel packages available in 3 price ranges. For players, 5 night packages are available that begin on Saturday, November 10. For exhibitors of the expo, there will the option of the 5 night package as above, or a 4 night package beginning on Sunday.
