Steinway Billiards in Astoria, NY is set to host another killer match-up on Tuesday, April between the best of the old guard and the best of the new… Steinway house pro Earl “The Pearl” Strickland will match up against “The South Dakota Kid” Shane Van Boening.
The match will be a race to 21 in 10-Ball, played on Strickland’s favorite, the 5 x 10 foot Brunswick table. Play will begin at 8pm, and admission is free for spectators.
Once again, NYC Grind and Inside Pool Magazine will be providing a free live stream via InsidePool.tv.
Following the Super Billiards Expo in nearby Edison, NJ, the match is sure to draw a large number of players and fans visiting NYC to watch the exciting action.
