Another round, another close call for a former US Open champion, as Johnny Archer was taken to the hill by John Moody from Salsbury Maryland. Archer lead most of the way but Moody always stayed close and was breaking at hill-hill before Archer out him away. Jeremy Jones also had a close match going early before he settled down and put away Robert Hicks 11-7.
