2006 WPA Artistic Pool World Championship

The pool playing world will focus it's attention on Fridley, Minnesota this December 8th – 10th, 2006 when 36 of the world's top ranked “Trick Shot” artists will be competing for this year's most prestigious event.

You have seen them on television, now come see them in person. This WPA sanctioned event features players from all over the world such as defending World Champion and Hall of Famed player Mike Massey (USA), Andy Segal (USA), Dr. Cue Tom Rossman (USA), Sebastian Giumelli (South America), Byron Ledezma (South America), Nick Nikolaidis (Canada), and Chi-Ming Lin (China).

We will be having Jose Rivas (USA) the youngest player who will be competing in this year's event at 16 years old. This will be an event that you will not want to miss. Also, on Thursday night 8:30pm December 7th, 2006, a few of these players and the public will be attempting to break a few world records

The WPA Artistic Pool Division the overseer of this event, which is responsible for the worldwide promotion and development of “artistic pool” – a recognized sport discipline of pocket billiards by the World Pool – Billiard Association. The WPA has sanctioned an official World “Artistic Pool” Championship every year since 2000, which makes this our 7th annual event. In addition, specific continental and select “titled” events have provided a growing awareness to this magnetic sport and the 8 disciplines that comprise it.
