Earl Strickland
Earl Strickland has taken the hot-seat at the Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour event at Classic Billiards.
Strickland held off a late charge by Keith McCready to win the match. Strickland raced to a 7-1 lead, and looked like he would run away with the match. McCready had other plans however, as he made a run of his own and got back to 8-7 before missing a tough combo to allow Earl to take the match 9-7.
On the one-loss side, Santos Sambajon and Alex Pagulayan both continue to win and will face each other in the next round with the winner taking on McCready in the semi-finals.
