Acciavatti wins 14.1 Nationals

Atlantic City Billiard Club was once again gracious host to the 3rd annual 14and1.com League 14.1 Nationals June 11-13th 2010. Congrats to all the nationals qualifiers that competed at our 3rd annual National Championships, and hats off to the players that competed in league play throughout the year as well. When the test of skills that only 14.1 can produce was completed, our 2008 runner-up Tom Acciavatti representing Diamond Eight Billiards in Latham, NY proved to be to tough this year, besting Angelito Carpio playing out of D&D Family Billiards in Thorndale, PA in the finals. Andy Walker out of Fenton, Michigan finished a strong 3rd this year besting his 4th place finish last year. Ray Hart playing out of Hippo's House of Billiards in Yorkville, NY finished out the top 4 with a great showing. Once again many new friends were made and old acquaitances reunited in Atlantic City.

Thanks once again to all the 14.1 enthusiasts across the country for another successful year of league play. The 14and1.com handicap system allows players of all skill levels a chance to compete in an individual league play format on a level playing basis no matter what your skill level may be.
