ACS Announces 2009 Nationals

The American CueSports Alliance (ACS) has announced that the 5th Annual ACS National Championships will be produced May 31 – June 6, 2009, at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.  These ACS Championships will immediately follow on Sunday morning the close of the VNEA International Championships concluding on Saturday evening, May 30.  Both events will use Valley Cougar tables with direction by Gary Benson and his staff with High Country Promotions.

The 2009 ACS Nationals will continue to offer competitions in 8-ball singles, 9-ball singles, 8-ball scotch doubles, four-person (women) and five-person (men/mixed) 8-ball teams, three-person 9-ball teams and the ever popular free-entry, money-added second-chance “Sportsmen” divisions.  Any pool league may choose to sanction with the ACS by paying an annual $10/player sanction fee.  All players within a league who compete at least eight weeks during a sanctioned session are qualified to compete at the ACS Nationals.  For more information on the ACS, go to www.americancuesports.org.
