ACS Elects New Officers

At its recent meetings in Las Vegas, Nevada, during the 2007 ACS Nationals, the American CueSports Alliance (ACS) elected new officers to one-year terms. Cecil Messer (Portage, IN) was elected to a new two-year term as Director of Referees by the members and was re-elected to the Presidency by the new board of directors. Mike Wilson (Norfolk, VA) of Southern Amusement Pool League was elected Vice President; Julie Ann Mitchell (Portage, IN) epresenting Indiana ACS was elected Secretary; and Ray Lambotte (Chicago, IL) representing Illinois ACS was elected Treasurer. Each officer serves a one-year term in each position.

The ACS continues to build its membership base while expanding its alliance with other non-profit associations to guide United States cue sports towards a unified image and promotion of the sport. Further information on the ACS is available at www.americancuesports.org.
