Team USA Members to Host Live Q&A Sessions with APA Members

LAKE SAINT LOUIS, MO (Nov. 18, 2016) — Like most of the pool world, the American Poolplayers Association (APA) is excited about the upcoming Mosconi Cup in early December.  So much so that they’re sponsoring Team USA members: Skyler Woodward, Justin Bergman, Mike Dechaine and Rodney Morris in this year’s competition in London.  All four players will be sporting the APA logo as they, along with teammate Shane Van Boening, look to bring the Cup back to U.S. soil for the first time since 2009.

In addition to wearing the APA logo on their team jerseys, all four players will participatein a live chat session via Facebook with APA members.  The players will share their thoughts on this year’s quest for the Mosconi Cup, what it means to be selected for such a prestigious event and answer general questions.  Woodward and Bergman will be chatting live on the APA Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/poolplayers/ on Monday, Nov. 21 at 3pm CST.  Dechaine and Morris will be chatting with APA members on Monday, Nov. 28 at 7pm.

This year’s Mosconi Cup takes place Dec. 6 -9 at Alexandra Palace in London, England.  Team USA holds a slight 11-10 advantage in the all-time series which dates back to 1994, with both teams tying in 2006.  The Mosconi Cup is produced by Matchroom Sports.

The APA produces three major tournaments each year—the APA World Pool Championships, the APA Poolplayer Championships and the U.S. Amateur Championship—that, together, pay out more than $2 Million in cash and prizes annually!

The APA and its championships are sponsored by Aramith, Action Cues and Pool Dawg.
