Karen Armstrong scored her second ever Chesapeake Area Tour victory this weekend with an undefeated romp through the field.
Armstrong took the hot-seat with a 7-3 win over Malea Haacke. Haacke bounced back with a 7-4 win over Diana Lane in the semi-finals to earn the rematch with Armstrong in the finals.
The finals looked to be either players match until the 3-3 point, when Armstrong took control and won the last four games. It was Armstrong's second win on tour, and her first since 2002.
Armstrong pocketed $600 along with paid entry to the WPBA event in March. Haacke settled for $475 in prize money. Diana Lane and Buffy Jolie filled out the top four spots.
