Janet Atwell won her fourth consecutive Southeast Amateur Ladies Tour stop this weekend at Murphy's Brass Rail in Athens, GA.
Atwell won the hot-seat with a 7-6 victory over Tracie Majors, who had just won a stop on the Ladies Spirit Tour in Florida 2 weeks ago. The ladies from the Spirit Tour have been paying frequent visits to the SEAL tour stop, but Atwell has defeated them all.
After Majors defeated last month's runner up Kim Whitman, it was down to Majors and Atwell in the finals. The finals would prove to be nearly as close as the previous encounter, with Atwell scoring the 9-7 win.
Atwell collected $410 for the victory. Whitman and Kim Young filled out the top four spots.
