Bay Area Amateur Tour Launches

Bay Area Amateur Tour Launches

The Tampa Bay area has been crying out for a new kind of women's tour. Something for the beginners to feel comfortable playing in that didn't leave the accomplished players out in the cold. The Bay Area Amateur Tour (BAAT) was created to fill this void. It is a handicapped tournament that any female except for the top 16 pro's can play in. We'd still like the top 16 to stop by but, to give us pointers, not win the tournament. Both 8 and 9 ball are played, similar to the Amateur National Championships. It is a race to your handicap level. Even if you aren't (yet) good enough to take home the money doesn't mean you won't leave with a prize. There will be prizes and raffles every tournament. The first person out gets a prize every time. Gifts will also go to the ladies that finish one out of the money.

Our tour is a little different and a lot of fun. Money from each entry and raffles goes towards the grand finale. So you can win prizes and win the money you spent on them back at the end of the year! There will be prizes for the top (and bottom) points leaders at the end of the season.

We will have 12 events. One each month. The first 3 events are already confirmed on our tour calendar.
