The Billiard Congress of America is seeking to fill seven seats on
their Board of Directors. They need to fill a single seat in the Room
Operator category and six seats in the Manufacturer/Distributor
category. This is a great opportunity for those who wish to help drive
the industry forward and plot the course of the game and the industry
that supplies it for years to come. BCA members can nominate themselves
or any other member for these positions. Candidates must be current BCA
members and qualify in the appropriate category. The
Manufacturer/Distributor category has four seats open that will
entail three-year terms, one seat that entails a two-year term and a
single seat that is to fill a one-year term. The Room Operator category
has a single seat available to fill a two-year term.
Qualifications are: For
the Manufacturer/Distributor seats the candidate must represent a
licensed business engaged in the manufacture or wholesale distribution
of billiard equipment or accessories. For the Room Operator seat you
must be a licensed business operating an establishment where billiards
are played or an operator (licensed) of a league or league system.
