A full field of 16 teams registered for the annual Brown's event in Raleigh, NC resulting in fierce competition and a $200 add from the hall. The modified double elimination format brought out the best in all the teams and the matches went deep into the night. At 5:00am the remaining teams of Johnny Griffin/Angela Griffin and Inky Huffman/Joe Cosky, weary from the fight, elected to split the prize rather than play out the last match which would have undoubtedly lasted at least another hour.
