Cue Raffle & Challenge Matches Tonight (3/14) at Amsterdam Billiards in Memory of George “Ginky” Sansouci

Hi Everyone,

As most of you know, our sport lost a legend last week. George "Ginky" Sansouci passed away last Tuesday, March 8th. He was one of the greatest players that ever lived and New York was very fortunate and proud to have him as their son.

The Super Billiards Expo Players Championship took place this past weekend in Valley Forge, PA. My goal at the tournament was to raise enough money to help Ginky's family pay for his funeral costs and the amount of support that we received was amazing!

Ginky's family would like to express their gratitude for all the support they received from players, fans, spectators and the billiards industry who attended the expo.

Number one ranked Mika "The Iceman" Immonen, Rodney "The Rocket" Morris, Raj "The Hitman" Hundal and I will be playing challenge matches tonight starting at 7PM at Amsterdam Billiards to continue raising money for Ginky's family. All proceeds will go towards Ginky's funeral costs.

We are going to raffle off a Poison VX 2.9 Striker Break/Jump cue as well as a Lucasi Hybrid Fusion Cue - LHF50 (the same one World Champion Thorsten Hohmann uses). Many thanks to Nina and Jessica of the Predator Group as well as Wes Bond of Lucasi Hybrid Cues and Thorsten Hohmann for donating these cues to help a fallen champion.

The challenge match details are as follows:

1 Rack: $10 and a Raffle Ticket for the cues

2 Racks $20 and three Raffle Tickets for the cues

You do not have to play for a chance to win the cue. If you simply make a donation and would prefer to not play, you will still receive a raffle ticket(s).

Robert Plaut also agreed to sell Shot Pads which are a great training tool for donations. Thanks Robert!

Please arrive early to grab a good seat as we are expecting a lot of people for the challenge matches.

Below you'll find Ginky's Wake and Funeral details for those of you who would like to attend.
