The 8-Ball Division of the Viking Tour's Great Southern Classic is complete with Shannon Daulton making an undefeated run through the field for a $3100 payday.
Daulton took the hot-seat with a 6-2 win over Jonathan Pinegar (Hennessee). Things got worse for Pinegar on the one loss side when he ran into Ike Runnels. Runnels won the set 6-0 by not allowing Pinegar to the table.
This set up a rematch between Daulton and Runnels in the finals. Daulton had won the first meeting hill-hill and the rematch was a repeat performance as Daulton scored another hill-hill win over Runnels.
First place was worth $3100 for Daulton, while Runnels settled for $2100.
The 9-ball division will get underway Friday night with 106 players currently signed up.
Brackets are online for both the 8-ball and one pocket divisions and we will have 9-ball division brackets online tonight.
