With the recent changes to the Desert Classic Tour, also comes a rebranding, new tour ownership and more announcements. Starting with the 2015 season, The Desert Classic Tour will be known as the Diamond Pool Tour.

The Tour has changed ownership and is now being run by Mike Howerton, Scott Frost and Chuck Parrill. All three new owners have been fixtures in the Arizona Pool Community for years and are very excited to be involved with the tour.

Diamond Billiard Products has come on board as a title sponsor for the tour, and the tour will be giving away a Diamond 7’ Smart Table at the 2015 Season Finale to one lucky tour participant. All paid entries to the tour during the 2015 season will earn that player one entry in a random drawing that will be held at the season finale. The lucky winner will be responsible for delivery and setup fees, but the table will be free of charge.

The 2015 Season Finale will actually take place in 2016, with a $2,500 added event at Casino Del Sol Resort in Tucson. Casino Del Sol Resort, southern Arizona’s premier entertainment and gaming destination, offers nearly 1,000 slot machines, live blackjack, poker and bingo. Guests can choose from six restaurants and three bars that feature live entertainment Thursday – Saturday nights, in addition to world-class entertainment at AVA Amphitheater.

Also joining the 2015 season as a sponsor, will be QB Custom Cues. One cue will be awarded at the season finale to the season’s top “B” player, and another will be awarded to the season’s top junior player. Remember that Arizona junior players play for free at all Diamond Pool Tour stops.
