Dodson and Massey elected to BCA Hall of Fame

Mike Massey

AzBilliards has learned that the 2005 inductees into the BCA Hall of Fame will be Robin Dodson and Mike Massey.

Dodson stopped competing regularly in WPBA events back in 2002, but she dominated the women's game in the early to mid 90's with back to back World Championships in 1991 and 1992, as well as a string of 10 titles from 1993 to 1995. Dodson now concentrates on her pro shop in Garden Grove California, and can be found at her booth every year at the BCA Open 9-Ball Championship. Dodson was elected in the 'Greatest Player' category. Other nominated players were Earl Strickland and Sang Lee.

Massey, known as one of the top Artistic Pool players in the game today, is a three time winner of the ESPN Trick Shot Magic competition and a multi time winner of the World Trick Shot Championship. Massey was elected in the 'Meritorious Service' category for 'those who have made lasting, memorable and important contributions to billiards'. Other nominated players in this category were Terry Bell/Larry Hubbart and Pat Fleming.
