Seoul, Korea- The creme de la creme of society came out to join the first ever red carpet party held for billiard super stars. The purpose of the party was to bring together forces outside the billiards industry and introduce them to the sport of pocket billiards and have potential future involvement.
Celebrities from movie, film, modeling, and music industries as well as CEOs of multi-million and billion dollar corporations attended the festivities. The guests were treated to trickshot performances and challenge matches with Jeanette Lee, Yu Ram Cha, Shanelle Loraine, and Mike Massey. Korean pop singer Seo Ge Young also performed a special concert and later challenged The Black Widow Jeanette Lee a game of 8-Ball.
"We invited over 100 of our top clients, VIPs and guests. We didn't expect it, but they all came. It's incredible. We would not hesitate to host a billiard party with Dragon Promotions again in the future." said Nick Heath, General Manager of the W Hotel Seoul.
The social party event had such a high demand that over 100 media outlets from TV, newspapers, magazines tried to register to get invited. The very chic Woo Bar could not contain the volume and the day before the event only 30 select guests from the media were allowed to cover the event.
One of the highlights of the event was when Jeanette Lee performed a shot shooting the ball out of the mouth of Richard Shim , VP of TV giant CJ Media which controls 12 TV networks. "My jaw hurts a little, but I think I'm ok." chuckled the good natured Shim.
