Ga-Young Kim is top CAT in Maryland

Ga-Young Kim went undefeated through a field of 22 players to win the Chesapeake Area Tour (CAT) stop at Bill & Billies CuesPort in Arnold, MD.

Kim defeated Sueyen Rhee for the hot-seat and then her good friend Jeannie Seaver finished Rhee off in the semi-finals.

Seaver came back from a loss to Carol Clark on Saturday to make her way to the finals against Kim but came up short 7-6 in the final match.

Kim collected $650 as well as the 2004 WPBA Players Choice Qualifier. Seaver settled for $450 in prize money. Rhee and Gail Grecar filled out the top four spots.

The directors of the CAT Tour wanted to express their thanks to Bill & Billies CueSport owner Kurt Ziem for helping run a great touranment.

The CAT Tour will be at Champion Billiards and Sports Café in Rockville, MD on November 15th - 16th for their next event. This event will be a qualifier for the U.S. Women's Nationals.
