Heather Pulford Wins Season Finale!

Heather Pulford and Amanda Lampert

The ladies showed up in style at the Fast Eddie's 9 Ball Tour Season bash in the Alamo City on December 5 to vie for the top honors and a chance to win an Eclipse pool table donated by Olhausen Billiards for the Finale.

Jack Kompan, cue maker extraordinaire, of Mystick Cues of San Antonio donated a beautiful custom cue from his Tiffany line to be raffled with all of the proceeds going to the ladies add on. Jack, we can't thank you enough for stepping up to help with this donation.

What a field it was! Top picks were Amanda Lampert, Heather Pulford, Kim Pierce, Audra Carter, Corina Campbell, Jennifer Kraber and Melinda Bailey.

The great shot maker Corina Campbell of San Antonio captured the fourth place position. Corina, a previous Tour event winner, took the long road after a first round loss to a very tough Kim Pierce of Bastrop. From the one loss side, Corina started her climb with victories over Diana Cardona, Audra Carter and Kim Pierce before being sent to the bleachers by Melinda Bailey.

Melinda Bailey, future bride to be to Tony Hinojosa, of Dallas- Fort Worth jumped into the third placement with a victory over Shayla Neris before being sent to the left side by Amanda Lampert. From there, she defeated Jennifer Kraber, Michelle Cortez, Christina Delagarza and Corina Campbell before succumbing to Heather Pulford in the finals of the one loss side. Good show, Lady!

Amanda Lampert, winner of four Tour events this year and the Houston Open, took the short hike to the hotseat with triumphs over a bye, Melinda Bailey, Kim Pierce and Heather Pulford.

Heather Pulford, winner of the first event this year in Austin, came out blazing as she dispatched a bye, Audra Carter and Christina Delagarza before being sent to the brutal bracket by Amanda in the finals of the winner's bracket. Heather, then, defeated Melinda to gain the spot to play Amanda in the finals.

With the finals being a double race to seven, Heather caught a gear and won the first set, 7-2. Down to one race for all the marbles, Heather took the lead and never looked back with a final score of 7-5. A great second place finish for Amanda and a big congratulations to Heather. Both ladies are fine champions!
