The thirty-seventh stop of the 2006/2007 McDermott All American Tour (produced by the American CueSports Alliance – ACS) was hosted at the Chattanooga Billiard Club, in Chattanooga, TN, on April 28, and featured a $500 added men's division with thirteen players. Both events included a double-elimination 9-ball format on 8-foot Brunswick Gold Crowns. Josh Kilburn (Chattanooga, TN) ran undefeated to the finals. In the hot-seat match, Kilburn clipped K.C. Donahey (Chattanooga, TN) 5-4. Earlier in the A-bracket semi-finals, Kilburn had outplayed Ronnie Long (Hartselle, AL) 5-2, while Donahey knocked off Joe Erwin (Chattanooga, TN) 5-3. In the B-side quarterfinals Joe Johnson eliminated Joe Erwin 5-2; Johnson then took out Butch Arden 5-2 in the semifinals; and in the B-side finals K.C. Donahey ended Johnson's run by a 5-4 margin. K.C. Donahey had to defeat Josh Kilburn two sets for the title, but Kilburn wrapped up the title in one set – winning 5-2!

By virtue of Ronnie Long being the highest-placing ACS member, he qualified for a free 9-ball singles entry into the 2007 ACS Nationals in Las Vegas – courtesy of the ACS. Don Hooper was the lucky winner of the McDermott Cue raffle. The ACS wishes to thank sponsors McDermott Handcrafted Cues, Silver Cup Chalk, Billiard Wholesalers and Pro Series Cases for their support in donating “Value-In-Kind” product for this and all stops on the McDermott All American Tour. Sponsorship opportunities for the 2007-2008 Tour beginning in October are available by contacting the ACS.

Saturday-Sunday, May 5-6 will feature the $1,000 added 7th Annual Jack Michaely Memorial at the Antique Billiard Museum in Colorado Springs, CO (for onsite entry details contact Jim Barber at 719-597-9809); and a $1,000 added 8-Ball stop at Leisure Time Billiards in E.
