Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour Welcomes Their New Sponsors, OB Cues, Cue-Z and Zinzola Custom Cues

Mike Zuglan's Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour is proud to announce the addition of three new sponsors to their upcoming 2008/2009 season.  All of these new sponsors will be donating their products to our host rooms adding to our already impressive sponsorship package.

OB Cues, which is short for Owen-Bunnell, Inc., was started in 2005 after about two years of designing their innovative OB-1 shaft.  The company consists of four partners, Anita & Don Owen and Mary & Royce Bunnell.  Don and Royce met while playing in the Southwest 8-Ball League in North Dallas, Texas.   They became immediate friends sharing a passion for the game as well as the science involved with it.  Their OB-1 cue shaft is extremely low “cue ball deflection” and excels in the areas of feel, control and spin.  “Engineered Consistency” is accomplished by utilizing a combination of flat laminations of maple and a unique “Radial Construction” exclusive to the OB-1.  OB Cues is a growing company with all of their products made in the U.S.A.  For more information about the products, visit www.obcues.com.

Cue-Z owned and operated by Nancy L. Cote of Manchester, N.H. will also be joining us this season.  Nancy invented Billiard Finger Slides a.k.a.  the “Unglove” to replace the traditional three finger glove for a fellow team member who had problems sweating through his glove.  Now all eight members of her team are using her “Unglove”.  Nancy spends at least thirty hours a week sewing each set by hand.  Another ten hours is spent on shipping and packaging and thirty more hours selling on the Internet.  She does virtually everything from purchasing, manufacturing, bookkeeping, advertising and selling!  Nancy has developed other products including the cue tip cover.  To learn more about them, visit www.cuezcuetipcover.blogspot.com.

Zinzola Custom Cues, hand-made by Tony Zinzola of Marlborough, MA is our third new product sponsor.  Tony has only been making cues since January 2007 but with his background in creating custom wood furniture, he has already established himself among cue enthusiasts as a master cue maker.  Although his cues contain beautiful exotic woods and inlays, he is a stickler for making solid hitting cues.  For him it is not about making a quick profit, it's about making a classic cue that will last.   Every cue must be of the highest standards before he will put his name on it.  Currently, Tony is producing 25-50 cues a year and there is already a substantial waiting period to obtain one of them.  For more information about Zinzola Custom Cues, visit www.zinzola.com.

The Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour would also like to acknowledge and thank all of our other current loyal sponsors.  All of them have been extremely generous through the years and deserve praise for all that they have done for us.  We encourage all of our fans and players to purchase, utilize and advertise their products so that others will benefit from them as well.  For a complete list of all of our sponsors and up to the minute tour information, visit www.joss9balltour.com.
