CueSports International, Henderson, Nevada (March 27, 2014) – CSI is proud to announce that Justin Collett, an original founder of The Action Report (TAR), is now the new CSI Media Manager. In his new role, Collett’s responsibilities will include CSI live streaming, recorded content management, print ad development, website graphics, YouTube channel management, Facebook pages management, and much more.
Over the last seven years as the face of TAR, Collett has been the industry leader in live streaming of billiards events and has built an impeccable reputation of customer service and quality. In that time, TAR produced 39 challenge matches featuring many of the best players on the planet with unique formats and stunning quality.
Earlier this year, Collett announced that TAR 39, Shane Van Boening vs. Efren Reyes, would be the last TAR match. However, as one door closed another opened. Ozzy Reynolds, the new CSI Manager, saw an opportunity and led the effort to obtain Collett. He explains that “it is extremely rare to find a person with Justin’s knowledge, skills, and reputation right at your fingertips. It only took a few minutes of conversation with Justin to realize that he is what we need.”
After that final TAR match, Collett assumed that he would begin a new chapter in his life that did not involve billiards. However, after several discussions with Reynolds, it became clear that they had common goals. Collett explained his decision to join CSI by saying, “I believe that with the new direction it’s taking, CSI can build something special and I would like to be a part of it.”
With this move, CSI can now consolidate many previously outsourced activities and better control its product. Additionally, Collett brings a wealth of industry knowledge and relationships that will allow CSI to strengthen its position. Please join us in welcoming Justin Collett to the CSI team!
