Kennedy over Hall in Palatka

Tommy Kennedy
The Southeast Open 9-Ball Tour was back in action this weekend with an event at Breakers Billiards in Palatka Fl and the crowd had the privilege of witnessing two former US Open champions do battle three times in the final day. The winners side came down to BCA Hall of Famer member, Buddy Hall vs tournament director, Tommy Kennedy and the first match went to Kennedy 9-1 to give him the hot seat.

Hall would defeat Luis Viera in the semi-finals 9-7 to set up the true double elimination final. Hall came out firing in the first set and defeated Kennedy 9-5, but the second match was much closer as Kennedy ran out a great rack in the final game to win the final match 9-8 for the tournament win.

Kennedy collected $600 for first while Hall settled for $490 for second. Luis Viera and Tom Gedris of Triple Cross Custom Cues filled out the top 4 spots.

The SE Open Tour will be at the Southside Billiard Club in Savannah, Georgia next week.
