McCready and Hohmann in Turning Stone Finals

Keith McCready

Keith McCready came back from the one loss side and defeated Ralf Souquet 9-5 to earn his place in the Turning Stone Classic VI finals.

McCready led the match early and took advantage of a couple uncommon errors by Souquet to climb to a 6-2 lead. A bobble by a freewheeling McCready let Souquet back in and Ralf quickly narrowed the gap to 6-4. The final clincher for McCready came with him holding a 7-5 lead and left with a table length on the 8-ball. The bank didn't go in, but the 8-ball found it's way the length of the table and went in the opposite corner pocket. McCready went on to win the next game for the 9-5 win.

The match against Hohmann will be a rematch of their battle for the hot-seat. Hohmann won that match 9-5. The finals are one race to 13 to earn the $8000 first prize.
