McCready and Rhee repeat as Falcon Tour winners

Keith McCready accepts his check from Nick Prinsloo

Keith McCready continued his streak of great play this weekend with a win at the Falcon Cue 9-Ball Tour stop at Champions Billiards Cafe in Rockville, MD.

McCready lost the match for the hot-seat 9-8 to Shaun Wilkie, but bounced back with a win over Mike Davis in the semi-finals to earn another shot at Wilkie.

Wilkie may have won the hot-seat from McCready, but he had no answer for McCready in the finals. McCready won 9-5 and 9-3 for his second straight Falcon Cue 9-Ball Tour win.

McCready earned $1000 for the win, while Wilkie took home $600 for second. Davis and Jose Parica filled out the top four spots.

The women's division drew 17 players, but no one could stay with Sueyen Rhee as she cruised to her eighth straight women's division win. Rhee defeated Jennifer Dunkin 7-5 for the hot-seat and then defeated Malea Haacke 7-2 in the finals.

Rhee won $325 for first, while Haacke settled for $215 in second place prize money. Dunkin and Kim Jones filled out the top four spots.

The Falcon Cue 9-Ball Tour will be at Orange Ball Billiards on October 18th for an event to benefit the Children's Hospital. More information on this event and all of the Falcon Cue 9-Ball Tour events is available at www.falconcuetour.com
