On Thursday, the Dynamic Billard Veldhoven Open 2018 for Men and the EPBF Veldhoven Open 2018 for Women will commence at the same time. The men’s event will be played on 48 tables and the women’s event on 12 tables.
229 men and 60 women have enlisted for the two prestigious events. Of course, a huge contingency of the fields consists of players who have stayed on from the recent European Championships. But also several other players, local and international, have made their way to Veldhoven in order to fight for the glory here at the NH Conference Centre Koningshof.
All 60 tables will be streamed LIVE at all times on kozoom.com so that both events can be followed without missing a single match! Kozoom premium pass holders are used to this service, but 60 tables has never been there before in Europe! Every day, one match will be streamed LIVE on the EPBF Facebook page and other additional matches will also be offered for free. A total of 37.500,-€ is at stake at both events. 1.500,-€ added in the women’s event plus 100% of the entry fees. In the men’s field, 36.000,-€ will be paid out to the athletes who will make it to the respective ranks. The winner alone gets 4.500,-€. Also, valuable rankings points will be awarded to all players participating. The rankings determine who will represent Europe at intercontinental events such as Mosconi Cup and World Championships, to name a few.
The Dynamic Billard Veldhoven Open 2018 and the EPBF Women’s Veldhoven Open 2018 both will begin tomorrow morning at 10:00 CET.
The tournaments are played on 60 tables which are all streamed LIVE throughout the whole event.
