“Terminator” shows no mercy

St. Johann, Austria: Niels "The Terminator" Feijen (NED) outclassed his opponent Petri Makkonen (FIN) with 9:1.

Feijen was as dangerous as dynamite in this match. Though he missed a shot in the beginning, he did not let that destroy his focus and came back even stronger. He ran out 80% of his own breaks and missed only one more shot during the whole match. Makkonen on the other hand missed five shots and could not come up with a single run-out. Probably, Feijen's performance impressed him and he could not find any way to stop "The Terminator" from entering the final match of the Dynamic Billard Austrian Open 2013.

The other finalist did not have that much of a challenge. Alexander Kazakis (GRE) also won his match over David Alcaide (ESP) with 9:1. It was very obvious that Alcaide did not attempt to win the match at all. He
needed to get to the airport to catch his flight and played very fast and missed shot after shot. What a disgrace! After the match, tournament director David Morris decided to fine Alcaide with 1.000,-€ for that poor sportsmanship. Alcaide will have the right to appeal against that decision.

The final match will be played at 18:00 CET between Kazakis and Feijen.
