The Ladies Spirit Tour is in action this weekend at World Famous Sports Cafe and Billiards in Delray Beach Florida, where a field of 33 players were competing in a WPBA qualifier for the Florida event in September.
At the close of play on Saturday, Ming Ng heads up the four players left undefeated. Ng will face Debbie Schjodt on Sunday in one winners side match, while Bonnie Coats faces Tracie Hines in the other.
Meanwhile, on the one loss side, matches scheduled are Sherry Sandalar vs Dawn Fox, Jeannie Seaver vs Niki Rasmussen, new Florida resident Toni Tucker vs Penny McBride (formerly Penny Swann) and Amanda Snall vs Stephanie Mitchell. Seaver lost a heartbreaking 7-6 match to Ng on Saturday, while Tucker was sent to the one-loss side by Bonnie Coats.
Of the twelve players left in the tournament, five of them are now sponsored by Slayer Technologies. Tracie Hines, Jeannie Seaver, Debbie Schjodt, Amanda Snall and Stephanie Mitchell are all part of the "Slayer Players".
