Big Apple 9-Ball Challenge Ready To Begin

The Second Annual Master Billiard Big Apple 9-Ball Challenge gets underway on Thursday with a field of 93 players fighting it out for the $20,000 in added prize money.

Reigning champion Charlie Williams is in attendance and will take on Michael Yednak in the first round with a possible match with Jeremy Jones or Tony Crosby waiting in the fourth round if he can keep winning.

Other top 9-ball talent in attendance at this event include Johnny Archer, Francisco Bustamante, Max Eberle, Charlie Bryant, Mika Immonen, Allen Hopkins, Mike Davis, Thomas Engert, Santos Sambajon, Tony Robles, Young Hwa Jeong, Gabe Owen, Danny Harriman, Jimmy Wetch, Thorsten Hohmann, Rodney Morris, Ralf Souquet, Luc Salvas, John Schmidt, Danny Basavich and Jose Parica.
