The 80 player field at the Pechauer West Coast Tour Season Finale at Hollywood Billiards in Los Angeles has been whittled down to sixteen players with eight still undefeated.
Sunday morning winners side matches will feature Dave Hemmah vs Morro Paez, Ernesto Dominguez vs Paul Potier, Bernardo Chavez vs Jose Parica and Steve Chaplin vs Butch Barba.
Still alive on the one-loss side are players like Stan Tourangeau, Max Eberle, Billy Palmer and Francisco Galindo. Lorry Deleon and Arturo Rivera have already been eliminated. Deleon lost a tough match 9-8 to Tourangeau late Saturday night. Billy Palmer was another player who dropped a hill-hill match on Saturday. He lost to Paez after putting on an exhibition of kicks, jumps and masse shots that had the crowd's attention all match.
