With an 8-2 win over Sweden's Tom Storm in the finals, Ralf Souquet has won the European Championship 8-Ball division. Souquet was undefeated, including wins over Nick Van den Berg, Radoslaw Babica, Rico Diks and Tom Storm twice.
The runner-up finish for Storm duplicated his finish in the 14.1 division earlier in the week. Souquet is still playing in the 9-ball division, which is down to eight players at the time of this report.
The Women's 8-Ball division was won by Charlotte Sorensen, who defeated Franziska Stark 6-3 in the finals. Sorenson is still playing in the ladies 9-ball division and eliminated Line Kjorsvik in her last 9-ball match.
The 9-ball divisions will finish on Thursday.
