Van Boening on a roll in Vegas

Shane Van Boening

Many fans who follow the up and coming players have been waiting for Shane Van Boening to earn his first major tournament win, and he might have chosen the tough field at the Enjoypool.com 9-Ball Championship as the place to do it. Van Boening remains unbeaten after day four and will face Mike Davis on Thursday for a chance to play for the hot-seat Thursday night. Van Boening now has wins over Jeff Kennedy, Charlie Williams, John Morra and Satoshi Kawabata to his credit at this event.

The other winners side match will feature Dennis Orcollo vs Jose Parica. Orcollo ended countryman Francisco Bustamante's undefeated run on Wednesday while Parica sent Mika Immonen to the one loss side.

In the ladies division, defending champion Jasmin Ouschan made a statement with her 9-3 win over reigning World Champion Xiao-Ting Pan and will face Karen Corr on Thursday.

The other winner's side match will see #1 ranked Allison Fisher taking on Monica Webb.

We have complete brackets for the men's division and the WPBA site has complete brackets for the ladies division.
