Allison Fisher
The WPBA website is reporting that Allison Fisher has won the WPBA Florida Classic at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Fisher survived a second round scare when Liz Ford came back from 8-6 down to tie the score at 8-8 before Fisher could win the final game. The next two rounds for Fisher were smooth sailing with dominating wins over Cathy Metzinger and Jennifer Chen. Next up for Fisher was another hill-hill win, this time against Gerda Hofstatter.
The win over Hofstatter put Fisher in the TV rounds where she defeated Melissa Herndon 7-4 and Ga-Young Kim 7-4 in the finals.
The win was the first tournament Fisher was won this year and will keep her firmly in first place on the WPBA poinst list.
