Kyoko Sone dominates NWPA Stop

The weekend of July 14-15, 2007, saw the Northwest Women's Pool Association make a tour stop into Uncle Jack's in Lynnwood, Washington, with a tough field of twenty-seven women.

The semi-finals offered a great match-up between Linda Carter and Kim Hole. Linda would ultimately be victorious over Kim, and she advanced to the finals against Kyoko Sone. But in the end, after making her way through the field undefeated, it was Kyoko Sone that would once again triumph because of her spectacular play, defeating Linda. In addition to a superior performance by Kyoko, one of the tour's members had a huge accomplishment of her own – this event proved to be the highest finish yet on the tour for Julie Valdez – she took home fourth place.

Congratulations to all of the ladies for a great event.
