Jenkins wins Oceania 9-Ball Championship

Greg Jenkins, the #1 rated player from Australia, defeated Tony de Fontenay from New Zealand 13-6 in the finals to claim the Oceania 9-Ball Championship in Christchurch New Zealand.

The Men's 8-Ball division was won by Brent Wells from New Zealand with an 11-6 win over countryman Bruce Wilkinson.

The Ladies 9-Ball division was won by New Zealand's Cath Dawson who defeated fellow New Zealander Marianne Edward 11-6 in the finals.

The next major event in New Zealand is the New Zealand Open 9 Ball Championships in Auckland on November 7th - 9th, 2003.
