Weston Lanes All American Tour Stop won by Billy Lasee

The twenty-first stop on the 2008/2009 Pechauer All American Tour (produced by the American CueSports Alliance – ACS) was hosted at Dale's Weston Lanes in Weston, WI, on Saturday December 13. The $500-added event drew twenty-six players in a double-elimination 8-ball format on 7-foot bar boxes.  Tim Clark (Weston, WI) cruised undefeated to the finals.  In the hot-seat match, Clark outgunned defending champion Ed Osypowski (Wausau, WI) 6-4.  Earlier in the A-bracket semi-finals, Osypowski outmaneuvered Lanny Nord (Hixton, WI) 6-0, while Clark bested Billy Lasee (Antigo, WI) 6-4.  In the B-side bracket Matt Kasprzycki (Weston, WI) eliminated Brad Kucharzak (Stevens Point, WI) at 7th place 5-1, while Jason Kasprzycki (Schofield, WI) tied with Kucharzak courtesy of a loss to Dave Torzewski (Wausau, WI) 5-3.  In the B-side quarterfinals Lanny Nord and Billy Lasee dispatched Dave Torzewski and Matt Kasprzycki into 5th place by 5-3 and 5-1 scores respectively.  In the loser's semifinals Lasee ousted Nord 5-1, and Billy continued his hot hand in the B-side finals to eliminate Ed Osypowski at 5-2 and gain a shot in the title match.  The tourney finals could not have been closer, as Billy Lassee gained the upper hand on the hill in two sets to defeat Tim Clark for the title by 6-5, 6-5 scores!

By virtue of Tim Clark being the highest-finishing ACS member in the event, he qualified for a free 8-Ball singles entry into the 2009 ACS Nationals in Las Vegas – courtesy of the ACS.  The ACS wishes to thank sponsors J.
