Arizona Pool Loses a Great Man, Warren Ellerman

On Monday, December 22nd, Warren Ellerman lost his battle with Lung Cancer. Warren has been a stable of support for billiards most of his life and most of you probably have seen him proudly supporting his two sons, Tanner and Mitch Ellerman, at every tournament across the state and country. Times have been extremely tough for the Ellerman family and making plans for the funeral couldn't be harder. Now comes the hard part of pulling together funds for a proper service. Kitty Carroll from Kitty's at 2836 N 36th in Phoenix is converting her Dec. 27th Scotch Tournament into a Memorial Fund Tournament this weekend. Donations will be accepted all weekend long, as well as a partial of the entry fees. Please show your support for one of our own. You can drop any donation off at Kitty's if you wish.

(Funeral Set for Tuesday, Dec. 30th TBD)

Over the past few months, Mitch has been helping out around Bullshooters in Phoenix and they are having a Memorial Tournament of their own for January 3rd. Race to Handicap minus 3, 2 p.m. Start. With all the great persons across the state that have ever met Mitch or Tanner, I know your heart goes out to the family. If you would like to make a donation, you can email me personally azpoolscene@hotmail.com or call my cell phone to make arrangements. Thank you, Jerry Stuckart 602.332.4499.
