The Carolina Ladies Pechauer Tour held their biggest event of the season at Randolph's Billiards in Hickory, NC on March 7th and 8th. There were a total of 18 players, and in those 18 players was #1 in the WPBA, Kelly Fisher "Kwikfire". WPBA player Janet Atwell and Val Finnie. The event lasted 2 days with a race to 9W/7L, Kelly Fisher dominated the winners bracket meeting both Val Finnie and Janet Atwell.
As Kelly Fisher worked her way through the winners Buffy Jolie and Val Finnie were working on the losers bracket, then they met each other, Finnie defeated Jolie in a close match 7-6. Where on the upper portion of the losers bracket top amateur and top player of the tour Katie Cowan was coming through. Val defeated Katie 7-5 to play Janet Atwell where she was defeated.
Kelly won the event with a 9-5 victory over Janet Atwell.
The tour drew some new players including Shanna Lewis, Marianne Merrill, Holly Sholes, Chantanhome Inthisione, and Melissa Goss.
