The Texas Open 9 Ball Championship title is coveted by top professional players and top amateurs alike. Past champions read like a who's who of pool and includes top names, like Shane Van Boening (reigning champion), Jeremy Jones, Gabe Owen (all U.S. Open Champions), superstar from Mcallen, TX, Sylver Ochoa, David “lil david” Henson, Jui Lung Chen, David Gutierrez, and Tony Watson. And of course, the trophy's name sake, Bob Vanover, who won it a record 8 times! Six of those wins were in a row!
