Day three of Amway Cup qualifiers saw the last remaining qualifier hopefuls from China make it into the main draw. China sent four players to attempt to earn their way into the main event, and all four players have now qualified.

Bi Zhu Qing was the first to qualify on Tuesday, and she will be placed in Group C where she will face such notables as Shu-Han Chang and Monica Webb.

Sixteen year old Shi-Ming Chen was the second player to earn their spot on Tuesday with a win over local player Shi Pei He in the finals. Chen will join Group G, alongside Allison Fisher, Pei Chen Tsai and Sarah Rousey.

Although there is still more day of qualifiers, the main event festivities got underway on Tuesday with a press conference and introduction of all of the main event participants.

Fans were allowed to vote for their favorite players and the top three vote getters; Allison Fisher, Xiao Ting Pan and Chieh Yu Chou; were all recognized during the press conference.
