Captain Hooks win Senior Masters IV

Mike 'Captain Hook' Sigel

Mike Sigel came back from the one-loss side and avenged his only loss to win the Senior Masters IV at Steve Mizerak's Billiards in Lake Park, FL.

Sigel, playing in his second 9-ball event in almost 10 years, dropped a 10-8 match to Buddy Hall on Friday but bounced back with 7 wins to earn another shot at Hall in the finals.

Sigel took an early lead in the finals and was up by three racks at one time, but neither player was able to grab much of a lead. Hall came back and held the lead at 8-7 and 9-8, but was unable to stop Sigel in the end as Sigel won the last three racks for the 11-9 victory.

Sigel collected $10,000 for the win, while Hall settled for $6000. Nick Varner and John Foster filled out the top four spots.
