FRISCO, TX (February 10, 2011): Ultimate 10-Ball Championships are proud to announce that well-known professional tournament director Ken Shuman has been hired to co-direct their upcoming event, which will take place April 21-24 in Frisco, TX, at the Embassy Suites Hotel Dallas-Frisco. Shuman will work together with Zach Ballas, who was also the tournament director for the 2010 Ultimate 10-Ball Championships.
Shuman is one of the country's premier tournament directors and an accomplished referee, considered an expert on the rules of play. He has officiated at world championships in the USA and the Philippines. He directs some of the pool world's major tournaments, including the U.S. Open 9-Ball Championships, the Derby City Classic, the U.S. Bar Table Championship, the U.S. Open 10-Ball Championship, and the CSI's National Championship Series.
"I was extremely flattered when promoter Badi Nazhat asked me to join his tournament direction staff at the upcoming 2011 Ultimate Ten-Ball Championships,” affirmed Shuman. “I am very excited to be a part of this prestigious BCA points ranking event and look forward to building upon the success of last year's tournament in Aruba."
