Four Colorado Kids Going to the BEF Junior Nationals

DENVER, Colorado- Saturday, April 28th, 2012 The Wynkoop Brewing Company located at 1634 18th Street, in Denver, CO hosted its annual Billiards Education Foundations Junior National 9-Ball Championship qualifiers. 

Several kids from all over Colorado's front range competed in this year's qualifiers and in the end the following young athletes have won divisional qualifiers and will represent the state of Colorado in this year's championship; 15-year-old Taren Stewart from Westminster, CO qualified for the Boys 18-under division, 14-year-old Joshua Bustos from Westminster, CO and 8-year-old Evan Balogh-Bryce from Denver, CO both have qualified for the 14-under division and 11-year-old Aryanna Davis from Aurora, CO qualified for the Girls 14-under division. 

“I am so proud to see so many kids playing pool these days,” says Melissa Little, house pro and WPBA Touring Pro. “From the Wynkoop and myself I want to wish each one of them luck for the upcoming Nationals, GO Colorado!”   

About the BEF: 
150 young billiard athletes will compete in the 24th Annual BEF Junior National 9-Ball Championships held on July 11 -15, 2012 and will be hosted at Romine's High Pockets in Greenfield, Wisconsin. For more information about this event please visit www.billiardseducationfoundation.org
