96 players have paid their entry fees and will wage pool war this weekend at Dr. Cue Billiards in Shoreline, WA (just north of Seattle).
This is the 13th Pechauer Tour Stop of the season and is also a Pokertropolis.com stop co-sponsored by the online poker site. Pokertropolis.com offers a $500 bonus to the highest finishing qualified Pokertropolis member (see www.pokertropolis.com for details) and it is yet to be determined who the qualified members are.
Many players have traveled down from Canada: tour point's leader Paul Potier, point's contender Stan Tourangeau, fellow countrymen John Horsfall, Brady Gollan, Simon Pickering, Mike Vidas, and Alan Ima. They will face the likes of current 3rd place point's holder Glenn Atwell, other great Washingtonian players Dan Louie, Rich "The Hat" Geiler, Mike "Z-Man" Zimmerman, John "JD" Doherty, Kris Iverson, and Harry Platis.
Only a couple diehards from Oregon made the trip but promise to be as tough as anyone: point's contender Steve Lingelbach, Justin Lilje, Brett Seyler, Dillon Standley and Joe Trevino.
